Targus worked with a reseller partner to equip one of Sydney’s top independent all-girl’s school with sustainable laptop sleeves for its students to ensure their school equipment accessories contributed positively towards their corporate responsibility and sustainability objectives.

The Targus team worked closely with the reseller and school to ensure the on-time delivery of more than two hundred sustainable laptop sleeves to accompany their devices for its students, mitigating original supply issues with the initial order due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Customer: A Top Sydney Independent School

The client is one of Sydney’s prestigious independent all-girls’ schools located in the lower North Shore, with more than 150 staff members serving more than 1,600 Year 7-12 high school students. It is ranked among the top 100 school within New South Wales, providing quality educational experiences where all students succeed.

The Project: Equipping All Students With Sustainable And Protective Laptop Sleeves

The client school highly value its contributions to corporate social responsibility and sustainability, even having their equipment and accessory purchases align with these goals. Previously, the client school purchased their laptop sleeves from another supplier from neighbouring islands with the aim of helping positively affect the economy of its local communities.

However, the global pandemic has created unprecedented challenges for supply and distribution of goods worldwide, affecting the client school’s ability to purchase these initial products as previously conducted.

Pleased with the outcome, the client also included this initiative into their school portfolio and news, advising new parents that they have recycled over 1,000 PET bottles for their 2023 student intake.
